The church is called to be nothing less than an alternative society centered on Christ, offering itself to the world as a sign, instrument and foretaste of the coming Kingdom of God. Reconciling the broken pieces of our sin-scarred world is thus one of our major tasks.
December 18, 2011
Topics will include: Church multiplication movement missiology; Raising up indigenous leaders, pastors and movement leaders; Multicultural church planting: Perils and promise; Missional leadership: Moving people from passivity to activity.

Vault is a conference on how to do church … for people who don’t like church. There are many books and conferences on how to grow a “successful” church, but unfortunately they’re not focused on how to reach the unconvinced and cynical. So … we’re doing it. God’s call is not for us to build a big church, but to seek and save the lost. If you’re tired of reaching church hoppers and want to reach the unchurched, Vault is for you.

Commissioned is a conference for people responding to the call:
• Leaders who are ready to plant a new church
• Leaders who are ready for their church to plant a new church
• Leaders who are ready to leave their marketplace job to get started
Whether you are planting a church, leading a church that is ready to multiply, or considering a career transition into church leadership we will give you the practical tools you need to fulfill your Commission. Learning from practitioners rather than theorists, our focus is on helping you take the next step on the journey and connecting you into a relational network so you don’t have to travel alone.
Because we are limiting registration to 300 this will be a unique opportunity to learn in a more intimate setting from Pastor Rick Warren as well as other successful church planters from across the country. And, unlike most conferences, the emphasis will be on conversation rather than lecture. You will have multiple opportunities to dialog with presenters and attenders.

Christian leaders from more than 50 countries, representing over 200 denominations and mission agencies, have taken this church planter training.
Plenary presentations, peer-group discussions, practical workshops and leadership forums will allow participants to formulate their own “culturally contextualized” values, mission, and church planting strategy. The Seven Seasons of Church Planting will be surveyed from pre-birth to reproduction.

There are lots of books and conferences on church planting, but unfortunately they’re not focused on how to start a church for the unconvinced and cynical. So … we’re doing it. We’ll take you into the vault, sharing principles learned over several effective church plants, and give you practical ideas to vault you into the future.
